Huawei has today launched its Nova 6 smartphone in China. Huawei Nova 6 comes in 4G as well as 5G variants. The Huawei Nova 6 comes in a sole 8GB with 128GB storage priced at 3,199 Yuan.
The Nova 6 5G on the other hand, comes in two variants – 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB models priced at 3,799 Yuan and 4,199 Yuan respectively. Huawei Nova 6 comes in Black, Blue, Blue-Purple Gradient, as well as Red colours.
Huawei Nova 6 features a 6.57-inch display with a 2400 x 1080 resolution. The 4G model is powered by Kirin 990 Processor coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The 5G variant is powered by the Kirin 990 (5G) which has an integrated Balong 5000 Modem within the chip to enable 5G connectivity on the device. The device features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
For the camera, the Nova 6 is equipped with dual front-facing cameras with 32-megapixel primary lens and 12-megapixel ultra wide sensor. The 5G model has a f/2.2 Aperture lens while the 4G model has a f/2.0 aperture.
The phone has a triple rear camera with a combination of a 40-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel with f/2.4 aperture telephoto lens, and an 8-megapixel ultra wide lens with f/2.4 aperture.
Huawei Nova 6 4G is backed up by 4100mAh battery while the 5G model has 4200mAh battery. Both come with support for 40W Super Fast charging which is capable of charging the device from 0 to 70% within 30 minutes. It runs EMUI 10 based on Android 10 out of the box.
Connectivity options include 5G SA/NSA (Optional), dual SIM, NFC, Bluetooth 5.1, Dual-Band WiFi support and USB Type-C. It measures 162.6 x 75.7 x 8.56 mm and it weighs 197 grams.
