A week after unveiling the MediaPad T5 in India, Huawei has now announced that the tablet will now go on sale in the country starting today exclusively on Amazon. The Huawei MediaPad T5 will be available in 2GB + 16GB for Rs 14,990 and 3GB + 32GB for Rs 16,990 from today.
As part of the launch, users purchasing the MediaPad T5 will get Huawei Earphone AM 12 worth Rs 2,998 and a flip cover for free.
The Huawei MediaPad T5 is powered by an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 659 SoC with 2GB/3GB RAM and 16GB/32GB storage options. The device features a 10.1-inch 1920 x 1200 Pixel Resolution display with a 16:10 aspect ratio.
The Huawei tablet runs on Android 8.0 with the company’s EMUI 8.0 on top and is fueled by 5100mAh battery. It has a 5-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with an f/2.4 lens and a 2-megapixel fixed-focus front shooter with an f/2.4 lens.
Additionally, the MediaPad T5 is equipped with dual speakers with Harman Kardon tuning and Histen5.0 technology. There’s an eye-comfort mode and a dedicated ‘Children’s Corner’ App preinstalled where users can set limits to their child’s usage and customize the content available. The tablet measures 243x164x7.8mm and it weighs 460 grams.
