Huawei has today launched Huawei Enjoy 9S and Enjoy 9e smartphones in China. Alongside, the company has also launched Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite tablet also.
The Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite Wi-Fi – 3GB RAM with 32GB storage variant is priced at 1199 Yuan (approx. Rs 12,300), the Wi-Fi – 4GB RAM with 64GB variant is priced at 1399 Yuan (approx. Rs 14,500). The Wi-Fi + 4G variant with 3GB RAM with 32GB storage is priced at 1499 Yuan (about Rs 15,500). Lastly, the Wi-Fi+4G variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage costs 1599 Yuan (approx. Rs 16,500). The tablet comes in Dark Gray and Champagne Gold colours and will go on sale from today.
Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite features an 8-inch Full HD display with 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution and 2.5D curved glass. The tablet is powered by 2.2GHz octa-core Kirin 710 12nm Processor with ARM Mali-G51 MP4 GPU.
The new tablet comes in two variants – 3GB RAM and a 32GB storage and 4GB RAM and a 64 GB storage. There’s also a slot for microSD card for further expansion of storage up to 512GB.
For the camera department, the MediaPad M5 Lite has a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 Aperture and a 5-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture. The tablet has a 5100 mAh battery. For surround sound, the device has Harman Kardon quad-speakers featuring the company’s Histen 5.0 sound system.
In terms of software, Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite runs on Android 9.0 Pie with EMUI 9.0 on top. As far connectivity is concerned, the tablet includes 4G LTE (though optional) Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4 GHz & 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack. The MediaPad M5 Lite measures 204.2 x 122.2 x 8.2 mm and weighs 310 grams.
