Huawei has unveiled Mediapad M2 7.0 in China today, along with Huawei G9 Lite. The Mediapad M2 7.0 comes in two storage variants, the 16GB storage model is priced at 1599 Yuan, whereas th 32GB storage version cost 1799 Yuan. As of now there is no information on when the Mediapad M2 7.0 will be made available in the market.
It has a 7-inch (1920 x 1200p) display with ClariVu 2.0 color enhancement technology. The Huawei Mediapad M2 7.0 powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor, along with 3GB RAM, and Adreno 405 GPU. The Mediapad M2 7.0 runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with Huawei’s EMUI on top of it and is backed up by a 4360mAh non-removable battery.
The device flaunts a good 13-megapixel snapper with LED flash and f/2.0 Aperture on the back panel. On the front, the device has a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The Mediapad M2 7.0 houses a fingerprint sensor and comes with all basic connectivity options.
Earlier this year, Huawei had released the Mediapad M2 with a 10.1-inch display. It features a Full HD (1920x1200p) IPS display and is powered by a 2GHz octa-core Kirin 930 processor. The silver colour model of M2 has 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage while there is 3GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage in its gold color model. Both the models though offer expandable storage slot of 128GB capacity. The MediaPad M2 10.0 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with EMUI 3.1 on top of it.
The tablet sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera. The MediaPad M2 10.0 packs a powerful 6600 mAH battery. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS, and also include a fingerprint sensor. The gold color model of the table comes with an Active stylus (M-Pen).
