Huawei Mate 9, which missed its IFA launch date and is now expected to be launched anytime in next two months, is reportedly coming with Leica made dual rear cameras just as the current Huawei P9.
As per GizmoChina, which references a post on Weibo, the Huawei Mate 9 could come with a dual camera setup with Sensors made by Leica. The dual camera setup on the Mate 9 is expected to come with optical image stabilization (OIS), laser Autofocus and Analog zoom. Reportedly the Mate S2 will also come with similar rear dual camera setup.
The Huawei Mate 9 was found on GFXBenchmarking website last month. As per the listing on GFXBench, the Huawei phone has a 5.9-inch that has full HD (1920×1080 pixels) resolution and 5 finger gesture support. Besides as per the listing, it has HiSilicon Hi3660 (Cortex A53) 2.6 GHz octa-core processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB of internal storage (out of which 52GB is reserved for the users), ARM Mali T880 GPU and Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.
Further, the phone is listed with 12-megapixel autofocus camera and an LED flash in its rear panel. There is an 8-megapixel camera in its front for selfies. The GFX listing shows that the device has connectivity features like Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and WiFi. As per the listing, the device has accelerometer, gyroscope, light sensor and Proximity Sensor as well. In the listing, there was no information about its expandable storage or battery capacity.
As per earlier rumors, the Huawei Mate S2 will feature a a 5.5-inch display, Kirin 960 2.6 GHz octa-core processor coupled with 6GB of RAM. The Mate S2 is rumored to be backed up by a 3,500mAh battery and run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with the latest Huawei EMUI interface on top.
