Huawei will be launching a new smartphone on January 28. The company has started sending out the teaser for the same with tagline “Faster, Better, Stronger”. As of now company has not revealed any information on which device they going to launch. However, last month a spokesperson of the company told The Mobile Indian that they will be launching the Honor 5X in India by January end and this invite teaser almost confirm the possibility of Honor 5X’s India launch.
Honor 5X features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixel) IPS display and is powered by a 64-bit, octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Processor (quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 & quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A53). The smartphone comes in two variants one with 2GB RAM and the other with 3GB of RAM and runs on Android 5.1 lollipop operating system with EMUI 3.1 on top of it.
The Honor 5X comes with 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up-to 128GB via a micro SD card and packs with non-removable 3000 mAh Li-Ion battery. The smartphone flaunts a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED (dual tone) flash and a 5-megapixel front camera.
On the connectivity front, the Honor 5X offers Dual SIM, 4G, Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), WiFi Direct, WiFi Hotspot, and A-GPS/GLONASS. The smartphone, which measures 151.3 x 76.3 x 8.2 mm and weighs 158 grams, is also armed with a fingerprint sensor.
