Huawei Ideos X5
The other phone launched today is the updated version of the Ideos X5, which was launched last year. The new version now comes with Cloud storage, a faster 1 Ghz processor, FM Radio and 14.4 Mbps download speeds.
The new Ideos X5 is available at Rs 13,800, and offers 16 GB Cloud space to store images, music, books etc. With Phone Finder, users can remotely locate phone or lock, backup or delete data to prevent phone from unauthorized use.
Huawei Ideos X5 comes with a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and ability to capture 720P high definition HD videos.
The new Huawei Ideos X5 also features a 3.8 inch capacitive touch display with 854×480 resolution with multi touch support. It is also SRS WOW HD certified and therefore should offer better music experience and also features active noise cancellation to keep the ambient noise at bay. The phone comes with 1500 mAh battery.
Anand Narang, marketing director at Huawei Devices said, “What is the use of a smartphone, if you need to charge it once or twice a day? Absence of features and poor battery life are the top two reasons for Indian consumers to upgrade their smartphones. With a 3 day, single charge, Huawei Honor offers upto 9 hours of talktime, 10 hrs of video and 6 hours of gaming. With industry leading features and superior technology in sync with Huawei’s brand philosophy of “Why Wait”, Huawei Honor raises the bar of smartphone experience.”
Availability has been an issue with Huawei devices, with users complaining and ask us about its availability. But this time around company has made it available with stores like Reliance Digital, Croma, online channels Flipkart, Tradus, Letsbuy and in multi brand outlets across India.
