Huawei has officially revealed that its range of smartphones will be updated to the latest Android Q. Interestingly, the company’s sub-brand Honor has also revealed that it will roll out Andriod Q to its range of smartphones.
Huawei revealed this information on its official UK Twitter handle. The company said that despite the ban, all the Huawei smartphones and tablets will continue to get the manufacturer’s warranty and will receive full-service support. “Anyone who has already bought, or is about to buy a Huawei smartphone, can continue to access the world of apps as they have always done,” the company said in a statement.

The brand has revealed that its latest smartphones including the Huawei P30 and Mate 20 series will get Android Q update. The brand has already started the Android Q Beta programme for Mate 20 Pro smartphone. Furthermore, the company has detailed the list of smartphones that it has submitted to upgrade Android Q update. Meanwhile, Honor has revealed that its latest flagship series will also get Android Q update. As per multiple reports, the company says that it will provide Android Q update to its Honor 20 series. This means Honor 20, Honor 20 Pro and Honor 20i will get to taste Android Q. Multiple reports also states that older smartphones Honor View 20, Honor 10 Lite, Honor Play, and Honor 8X might also get the Android Q update.
Previously, the company was reported to offer a special warranty programme to its users under which it promises to provide a 100 per cent refund on Huawei smartphones if popular apps stop working on it. Under this offer, the company is claiming that it will provide a full refund if popular apps like Google App suites, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and more stops functioning on the device within two years of purchase.
