After launching the Huawei P9 in Indian market, Huawei has now launched a new smartphone for Chinese market, which is named as Huawei G9 Plus. The smartphone comes in two variants- a 3GB of RAM model with 32GB of internal storage variant at 2399 Yuan (approximately Rs 24,159), and a 4GB RAM model with 64GB inbuilt memory whose price will be announced later. The 3GB model of the smartphone is now up for pre-order and sale will start from August 25th onwards.
The Huawei G9 Plus smartphone has a metal unibody and a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920x1080p) curved 2.5D glass display. It has a 2.0GHz Snapdragon 625 processor, 128GB micro SD card slot and Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with EMUI 4.1 customised interface.
The G9 Plus has a 16-megapixel rear camera with phase detection auto focus (PDAF) feature. There is an LED flash on its back too. On its front, it has 8-megapixel selfie snapper camera with fixed focus. The device comes packed with a 3340 mAh non-removable battery, which claims to deliver 2.2 days of usage when fully charge.
The Huawei G9 Plus houses a fingerprint scanner on the back panel and also comes with USB Type-C port. Besides, the smartphone offers 4G with VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, USB OTG, and GPS. The handset measures 151.8×75.7×7.3mm and weighs around 160 grams.
