Huawei has unveiled a new phone, Enjoy 5X at an event in Beijing. It comes with a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display with Dragontrail Glass. It is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor and coupled with Mali-T720 GPU and 2 GB RAM. It has 16GB of inbuilt storage, which can be further expanded to 128 GB via a microSD card.
The Huawei Enjoy 5X runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with Huawei’s Emotion UI (EMUI) out of box. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes packed with a huge 4,000 mAh battery.
Honor Enjoy 5X offers Dual-SIM and 4G LTE support and other connectivity options are WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0 and GPS with AGPS support. It has a dimension of 143.1 x 71.8 x 9.7 mm and weighs 160 grams.
Enjoy 5X is priced at RMB 999 ($157), approx Rs 10,200. Color options available are Grey, Gold and White. Huawei has announced the smartphone only for the China market and it will go on sale in China starting from October 16th. However, the company has not revealed anything about the availability of Enjoy 5 phone in other markets.
Recently, Huawei had launched Honor 7 in India for Rs 22,999. The device has a 5.2-inch display with full high definition resolution and it comes preinstalled with Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system with Huawei’s Emotion 3.1 user interface on top of it. It has the Kirin 935 chipset that has a 64-bit octa core processor with maximum clock speed of 2.2GHz. Plus it has 3GB RAM and comes in 16 GB and 64 GB internal storage variants. Both the variants have an expandable storage slot of 128 GB capacity. The phone, which measures 143.2 x 71.9 x 8.5 mm, has an all-metal body and weighs 157 grams with a 3100 mAh battery that claims to offer 16 hours of 3G talktime.
The Huawei Honor 7 has 20 Megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 Aperture and Sony sensor. As per the company, this camera has 0.1 second Autofocus ability. For selfies, it offers an 8 megapixel front snapper.
