Apart from Honor 6X and Honor Pad 2 tablet, Huawei also launched its new smartwatch – Honor Watch S1, which is compatible with both Android and iOS devices.
The new smartwatch from Huawei features a 1.04 inch circular screen with a Resolution of 208 x 208 pixels. Sadly, it only comes with black and white touch screen. However the smart watch comes with IP68 certification making it water and dust resistant. You need to have a device running on iOS 8 or above and the smart watch also supports Android devices running 4.4 Kitkat or above.
The black and white touch screen is surrounded by aluminium and gives a premium look and feel. Also, it only weighs around 35 grams. Huawei has also given an 80 mAh battery which the company claims can last up to 6 days and takes less than 2 hours to fully charge. Also, this watch can be charged via magnetic charging cradle which has 4 PIN charging port.
Regarding connectivity and sensors, the Watch S1 comes with Bluetooth 4.2 and also sports a 3-axis accelerometer, gyro + accelerometer, heart rate monitor, wear sensor and ambient light sensor.
The Honor Watch S1 will sell in three colour straps namely Orange, Black and Blue. Huawei launched the watch at CNY 699 which is around Rs 6,900 with pre-orders beginning today. Further, the Watch S1 will be available fr purchase in China from October 25. However, there is no information about its launch in India.
