Chinese smartphone maker, Huawei had announced MediaPad M2 10.0 tablet at the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) 2016 earlier this year in January. Now the company has silently announced a new tablet, Huawei MediaPad T2 10.0 Pro. The tablet is currently listed on the company’s official website and is expected to go on sale soon. The Huawei MediaPad M2 10.0 Pro comes in Pearl White and Charcoal Black colour variants.
MediaPad M2 10.0 Pro features a 10.1-inch, Full HD (1920x1200p) IPS WUXGA display that offers a pixel density of 224ppi and is powered by 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz (4×1.5GHz + 4×1.2GHz) with Adreno 405 GPU. The tablet comes with two storage options, one with 2GB with 16GB internal storage and the other with 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage. Both the models though offer expandable storage slot of 128GB capacity. The MediaPad M2 10.0 Pro runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with EMUI 3.1 on top of it.
The tablet sports an 8-megapixel camera and an LED flash in its rear panel while a 2-megapixel front camera. The MediaPad M2 10.0 Pro packs a powerful 6600 mAh battery. Connectivity options include 4G/LTE, WiFi 802.11b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. The tablet will also be available in WiFi only variant. The tablet measures 259.1 × 156.4 × 8.5mm and weighs 495 grams.
Huawei has however not revealed its price or launch details. Recently Huawei unveiled Huawei P9, P9 Plus smartphones.
