Smartphone manufacturer, HTC has announced the launch of its highly anticipated One X and One V smartphones in Asia. At a launch event at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, from where The Mobile Indian’s Sandeep Budki is reporting from, HTC has announced that the two handsets will hit the Asian markets including India on April 2.
According to Taiwan based company, One X will be priced around Rs 35,000, while One V will sell for Rs 17,000.
HTC One X
The HTC One X features a polycarbonate unibody that is claimed to have the ruggedness of metal but is super lightweight.
HTC One will come with a 1.5 GHz Super 4-PLUS-1 (Quadcore) Nvidia Tegra 3 mobile Processor with integrated fifth battery saver core and a high performance 12 core Nvidia GPU. It also comes with a large 4.7 inch, 720p HD screen with contoured Corning Gorilla Glass that protects the display from scratches.

HTC One V
HTC One V features a 1 GHz processor, and 3.7 inch touch screen. It has a 5 Megapixel camera.
The phone’s aluminum unibody design is very similar to that of HTC Legend. All the other features of the One series like Android 4.0, HTC Sense 4 and camera and sound enhancements are all available on this phone also.
There is, however, no word on the third smartphone in the One series, which is known as One S.
