HTC U12 to be launched in Spring season?

The HTC U12 is expected to powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and it will run on Android Oreo.

Taiwanese mobile phone manufacturer, HTC is expected to bring the much-speculated U12 smartphone next month – i.e. in March. While it is yet to be confirmed by the company that when it is going to officially announce the phone, a new rumour has now claimed that HTC U12 will launch in the spring season in New York City. This is inline with the previous reports that speculated March launch date for the HTC U12.

The HTC U12 is expected to be its flagship smartphone of this year. There have been a lot of speculations about its features and looks till date.

The time frame for the launch has been revealed by a Twitter user Ricciolo (aka @Ricciolo1). The tweet read “as @htc said: “But let’s just say you haven’t seen anything yet.” U can imagine what we’re going to see this spring in NYC #u12 #event”.

Recently, the company showcased an unnamed smartphone at the 5G event in Taiwan. Famous tipster Evan Blass has claimed that the phone could be none other than the HTC U12. From the picture, it is quite clear that the phone has an 18:9 display. It looks like to have a 6-inch screen with Quad HD+ resolution. At the 5G event, the phone was displayed with Qualcomm X20 that comes with and supports download speeds of up to 1.2 Gbps.

As per earlier speculations, the HTC U12 will be the device that might come with a dual-camera setup. The HTC U12 is expected to powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 and it will run on Oreo. It will be equipped with the 6GB DDR4 RAM and 128GB of internal memory. Other than this, the smartphone might also come with a dual front camera setup for the selfie. Like many flagship devices, the HTC U12 is also expected to get rid of the 3.5mm jack, and there is a chance that the device might come with an all-glass back.
