HTC is reportedly working on its next-generation of a flagship device, the HTC U12+. The smartphone has been subjected to various leaks and rumours in the past. Now some case renders of HC U12+ via Yahoo Taiwan has surfaced online showing the smartphone is different angles.
The leaked renders via Yahoo Taiwan show the screen protector for the phone showing how the phone will look like. It shows the smartphone featuring dual cameras on the front and rear and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The dual cameras in the rear are placed horizontally in the center with LED flashlight below it. The device lacks the traditional 3.5mm Headphone jack.
The HTC U12+ is expected to launch in early May and the smartphone could be the only premium smartphone from HTC this year.
Coming to key specifications, the front will sport a large 6-inch WQHD+ display with LCD panel. The smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 845 Processor along with 6GB of RAM and either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. The memory could be further expanded via micro SD card slot.
On the camera front, the device will feature dual rear cameras with a combination of 16-megapixel primary and 12-megapixel secondary sensors. The front will bear an 8-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling. Interestingly, the smartphone will also feature company’s EDGE Sense hardware as well. The device could bear a 3420mAh battery. Further, the device will run on the latest Android Oreo and the company might introduce the smartphone in late April or early May.
