HTC has already confirmed that they will be releasing Android Oreo update for HTC U11, U Ultra, and HTC 10 smartphones. Now, if latest reports are to be believed then the company might roll out Android 8.0 Oreo for the HTC U11 by November end or early December.
According to a leakster LabTooFeR, the Android O update of the HTC U11 is reaching final stages of the development and the brand might release the latest update by November or early December. Interestingly, once the update will start rolling out for HTC U11, one can also expect the rollout of the latest update for HTC U Ultra and HTC 10 by end of this year or next year.
Post getting the Oreo update, the smartphones will have picture-in-picture mode that lets users to two tasks simultaneously. So, for example, one can minimise a YouTube video while sending a text message or writing an email. Android Oreo has other features like including Background limits, installation of apps via APK, over 60 new emojis, notification dots, Wide-gamut colour for apps, Snoozing individual notification, Adaptive icons, Keyboard navigation, WebView enhancements and much more.
