HTC has started rolling out Android 8.0 Oreo update for its mid-range smartphone, the HTC U11 life. The device was launched earlier in November with Android Nougat out of the Box.
The company has released an Over-The-Air(OTA) update for unlocked AT&T and T-Mobile version users. One can go to Settings> About Phone, to check for the latest update. Users can go to Settings> By Phone, to check for the latest update.With the latest update, the smartphone will have picture-in-picture mode that lets users to two tasks simultaneously. So, for example, one can minimise a YouTube video while sending a text message or writing an email.
Further, the Android Oreo has other features like including detailed Notification dots for every App and Autofill passwords, faster boot times, background limits, installation of apps via APK, over 60 new emojis, notification dots, Wide-gamut colour for apps, Snoozing individual notification, Adaptive icons, Keyboard navigation, WebView enhancements and much more.

To recall, the company launched the HTC U11 Life smartphone in the USA at a price tag of $349. The smartphone comes in Amazing Silver and Brillant Black colour options. On the camera front, it comes loaded with a 16-megapixel rear camera and front. The phone also comes with 2600 mAh Li-Ion battery.
