Taiwanese handset maker, HTC is reportedly on its way to launch five handsets next year including one with dual camera set up.
“We’ll definitely be releasing a dual-camera phone next year,” HTC President Chialin Chang told Engadget.
HTC came with Evo 3D (https://www.themobileindian.com/videos/htc-evo-3d-review-best-android-phone-out-19), its first of kind experiment with two cameras at the back, in the year 2011. Later the company brought couple of smartphones with depth sensing secondary cameras at the back.
Interestingly, no HTC phone launched this year has dual camera set up.
Meanwhile, the report quoted the HTC executive as saying that the company is also looking to launch five to six smartphones. Most of the phones will be in mid-range segment – clearly, the company wants now to fight with the likes of Vivo and Xiaomi.
