HTC has teased a new handset on its Twitter account, which many assumed to be the purported HTC One Mini.
“We have a ‘little’ bit of news tomorrow,” HTC wrote on its Twitter account flashing a handset a small portion of which is only visible in the picture.
The so called HTC One Mini smartphone is a toned down version of the HTC One smartphone. The HTC One Mini is speculated to have a 4.3-inch touchscreen display with 720p HD resolution.
Notwithstanding its affordability tag, the smartphone would pack a quad-core 1.4 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 mobile processor with Adreno 305 graphics chip and 1 GB RAM. At the back, it is said to feature a 4 Megapixel UltraPixel camera and HTC Zoe. There will also have a 1.2 megapixel camera in the front of One Mini for video calling and self portrait shooting.
By default, the HTC One Mini will run on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and Sense 5 user interface with BlinkFeed and HTC Zoe experience. HTC will also integrate the Beats Audio for better quality sound output.
HTC One Mini is set to compete with the Galaxy S4 Mini announced recently. The Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini is expected to retail for Rs 27,990 in India. We expect the One Mini to be price alike.
