HTC has started rolling out Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update for its flagship HTC One smartphone. The 417 MB update brings in host of improvements in many aspects of the phone.
The latest Android version brings a host of improvements and changes, additionally HTC has also updated its Sense user interface. The update brings enhanced launcher bar, quick settings, widget panel rearrangement, and Android Daydream mode. The status bar now also shows the battery percentage.
The Home key can now launch the options menu via a long press. Google Now can be accessed by swiping up from the Home button. BlinkFeed has also been tweaked and now supports Instagram.
The cameras auto focus and after effects feature of the phones camera has also got an update and so has the HTC Zoe. There’s a new lockscreen style too. Widgets can also be added to the lockscreen after the update.
However the update will be rollout in a phased manner and Androidcentral has reported the rollout already happening in some Scandinavian countries in Europe.
