HTC One M9+ Prime Camera Edition with 13MP OIS camera launching in India soon at Rs 23,990

The One M9+ Prime Camera Edition has a 4-UltraPixel front camera with BSI sensor.

HTC had introduced One M9 Prime Camera Edition in Germany earlier this month, Now HTC is introducing One M9+ Prime Camera Edition smartphone for Indian market, according to Mumbai based retailer, Mahesh Telecom. As per the retailer, the smartphone is priced at Rs 23,990 and will be available in the coming days. However, the smartphone is also listed on the HTC India eStore as coming soon. The One M9+ Prime Camera Edition comes two different color options- Gunmetal Grey and Silver.

The HTC One M9+ Prime Camera Edition features 5.2-inch Full (1080p) display Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by a 2.2 GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 processor, which is clubbed with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and expandable memory up to 2TB via microSD card. The smartphone runs on Lollipop operating system with HTC Sense on top of it and is backed up by a 2840 mAh battery.

The One M9+ Prime Camera Edition flaunts a 13-megapixel rear camera setup with lens cover made ​​of sapphire glass, OIS, Laser Auto-focus , BSI sensor, ƒ 2.0, 2.79 cm (1.09 inch) lens, video recording. On the front it has a 4-Ultra Pixel camera with BSI sensor, ƒ2.0, 2.68 cm (1.05 inch) lens, 1080p HD video recording.

Beside, the smartphone offers, LTE, 4.1, Wi-Fi, NFC, Micro-USB 2.0 port, AGPS and GLONASS, HTC BoomSound with Dolby Audio, Ambient light sensor, Proximity sensor, Motion Accelerometer, Compass sensor, Gyro-sensor, and Magnetic sensor. The handset measures 15.09 x 7.19 x 0.96 cm and weighs 168 grams.

Earlier this week, HTC announced six smartphones for Indian market- HTC 10 the flagship smartphone, HTC One X9, HTC Desire 628, HTC Desire 630, HTC Desire 830, and HTC Desire 825. The mid-range Desire 628 Dual is priced at Rs 13,990 and will be available in Cobalt White and Sunset Blue colours from June onwards. HTC 10 has a price tag of Rs 52,990 and it will be available from June 5. HTC 10 Lifestyle version will also be launched in India along with HTC 10 but its price will be announced later. The HTC One X9 dual SIM is to be available at Rs 25,990 from June 20. HTC however has not announced the price of Desire 830, Desire 630, and Desire 825.
