HTC One M8 Prime to sport exotic aluminum and liquid silicon body

HTC to introduce the One M8 Prime with 5.5-inch Quad-HD display, quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 mobile chipset and 3 GB RAM.

HTC is reported to be working on a quad-HD display bearing handset, dubbed as One M8 Prime. This handset is set to succeed the HTC One Max released last year. EVLeaks shared information about the HTC One M8 Prime such as it will feature exotic material made from aluminum and liquid silicon. Also, the HTC One M8 Prime will be water-proof and splash-proof just like the flagship devices of other handset makers – Sony and Samsung.

The Mobile Indian had reported about HTC working on a quad-HD display trotting smartphone dubbed as HTC One M8 Prime. This handset is planned to compete with similar Prime series handset from Samsung.

So far, the leaked information about the HTC One M8 Prime points that the device will be constructed using exotic material – aluminum with liquid silicon. HTC has used 5.5-inch display with Quad-HD (2560×1440) pixel resolution. This smartphone will be powered by a quad-core 2.5 Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 mobile chipset pairing Adreno 430 GPU graphics. Apparently, this mobile chipset will also support the CAT6 LTE Advanced modem integrated inside for fastest possible mobile speeds for select markets. To make this powerful hardware run faster, HTC has packed 3 RAM.

Only feature most of the folks are worried about is the camera, and it would not surprise us if HTC plans to implement the Duo UltraPixel camera in the M8 Prime.

Though the specifications of most “Prime” handsets are leaked, the only thing we are concerned about is the battery capacity bundled with the monstrous hardware and display clad smartphones.
