HTC has introduced the new One E8 which was previously rumored to arrive as the HTC One M8 Ace. The Mobile Indian reported about the sighting of the HTC One M8 Ace product image render two weeks ago. HTC has now introduced the same smartphone as the HTC One E8 for the smartphone lovers across the globe. The One E8 offers 5-inch full HD display, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 mobile Chipset and comes in a polycarbonate body. HTC One E8 in Dual SIM version will be released in select markets later this month.
HTC One E8 is like the polycarbonate incarnation of the One M8 smartphone. The One E8 offers the same 5-inch display with 1920×1080 pixel resolution as the One M8. This display has been constructed using Corning Gorilla Glass 3 technology. Clad in the polycarbonate body, the One E8 is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 mobile processor, coupled with 2 GB RAM. This native hardware is used to drive the new HTC Sense 6.0 user interface layered on top of the Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
HTC has packed a 13 megapixel camera in the handset which is capable of recording full HD videos and capture high quality images. There is an LED flash at the back too. In its front lies a 5 megapixel camera for self portraits and video calls. The One E8 offers 16 GB on-board storage and a memory card slot that can hold a microSD card of up to 128 GB capacity.
The international model of HTC One E8 will also support 4G LTE network (single SIM) apart from 3G networks. Other significant features of One E8 include dual-band WiFi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac) support, Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX codec support, MHL support, Near Field Communication and GPS with GLONASS.
Packaged in Electric Crimson, Polar White, Misty Gray and Maldives Blue colour options, the One E8 packs a 2600 mAh capacity battery to promising run time.
HTC has implemented the dual stereo speakers in the front with the BoomSound sound enhancement technology powered with built-in amplifiers.
