HTC made Nexus devices are expected to be launched this year which are allegedly codenamed as HTC S1 “Sailfish” and HTC M1 “Marlin”. Now a leaked file of the HTC S1 Sailfish has surfaced online. The file has been leaked by popular leakster Evan Blass. The leaked file confirms some of the rumored specifications of the Nexus phone.
The leaked file of the Nexus Sailfish is the build.prop file which is confirming some specs. The file points to the Snapdragon 820 Processor as it has a string which contains “ARM64-V8a” and “msm8996”. The build.prop file also suggests that the phone has a Pixel density of 420, which means that the HTC S1 may feature a 5.2-inch display with a full HD resolution. The file also has many strings which hint at an authentication method which is definitely the fingerprint scanner on the rear side.
As per earlier rumors, the S1 Sailfish is expected to come with a 5.2-inch full HD display, 4GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. HTC Sailfish also rumored to have fingerprint sensor and USB-C port as well as a top mounted headphone jack. The handset has support for Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity and is backed by a 2,770 mAh battery. It features a 12 Megapixel rear camera and an 8 megapixel front camera.
Currently it is not know that when the two Nexus devices will be made official but as per some reports, the HTC Marlin and Sailfish are likely to be announced sometime between September and October.
