Two HTC Nexus devices which are to be launched this year are codenamed as HTC S1 “Sailfish” and HTC M1 “Marlin”. Recently, HTC Marlin specs leaked online. Now the Nexus Marlin have been spotted on GeekBench benchmarking website, according to leakster Roland Quandt.
As per the GeekBench listing, the phone got 2084 in single-core test and in muli-core test it received 4969. As per the listing on Geekbench, the Marlin will come with 4GB RAM and a Qualcomm Snapdragon (either 820 or 821) 1.59 GHz quad core processor. The handset is based on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat version operating system. Furthermore, the specs on GeekBench are in line with the previous specs leaked earlier.
As per earlier rumors, HTC M1 Martin features a big 5.5-inch QHD display with 2560×1440 pixel resolution, quad-core Qualcomm processor, 4GB of RAM, 32 or 128GB of storage, and a 3,450 mAh battery. It features a 12 megapixel rear camera and an 8 megapixel front camera. The handset will feature a fingerprint scanner on the back, bottom firing speakers, Bluetooth 4.2 and a Type C USB port.
Earlier, HTC S1 Sailfish smartphone specs also leaked online. HTC S1 Sailfish is the smaller of both the devices and is likely to succeed Nexus 5X. The S1 Sailfish is expected to come with a 5-inch full HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and 440ppi pixel density. Reportedly it will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 Chipset which has a 64-bit 2.0 GHz quad-core processor, 4GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage.
HTC Sailfish features rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and USB-C port at the bottom with a top mounted Headphone jack. The handset has support for Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity and is backed by a 2,770 mAh battery. It features a 12 megapixel rear camera and an 8 megapixel front camera.
Currently it is not know that when the two devices will be made official but as per some reports, the HTC Marlin and Sailfish will be officially announced sometime between September and October. So stay tuned till then.
