HTC is reportedly working on successor of the HTC One smartphone which is said to be codenamed as HTC M8. This new smartphone is touted to be the true successor of the HTC One. The company will power this device with Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 mobile processor. HTC will use a 5-inch to 5.2-inch display in this smartphone.
HTC is currently basking on the glory of its One series devices – One, One Mini and One Max released this year. The company has already started working on the devices for the next year. The One series successor devices are already in development.
Chinese retailer ePrice posted blurry images of the purported HTC One successor codenamed as M8. This handset said to come packed with 3 GB RAM along with the quad-core Snapdragon 800 mobile processor. Quite possibly that the M8 will run the Android 4.4 KitKat update under the next generation HTC Sense user interface.
HTC introduced the fingerprint sensor on the One Max and same might be included in the M8 but with a smaller implementation. We suggest to take such details with a grain of salt and wait for more concrete details about the handset.
