HTC today has announced the launch of its two new smartphones at an event in Delhi- the HTC Desire 10 Pro and HTC 10 evo. The HTC Desire 10 Pro is priced at Rs 26,490. The Desire 10 Pro will be available by 15 December while the evo 10 will be available by December end. The Desire 10 Pro will be available four colour variants – Stone Black, Polar White, Royal Blue and Valentine Lux colour.
HTC Desire 10 Pro has a 5.5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) IPS display with 400ppi Pixel density with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It has an octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor, 4 GB of RAM, HTC BoomSound stereo speakers in the front, and Dolby Audio technology. The smartphone comes with a 20-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, BSI sensor, laser Autofocus Æ’/2.2 Aperture and 27.8mm focal length, Auto HDR mode, Panorama mode, Continuous shooting. For selfies, it comes with a 13-megapixel front camera. The HTC Desire 10 comes with 64 GB inbuilt storage which can be expanded through a micro SD card to up to 2TB. This Android 6.0 Marshmallow based smartphone has HTC’s Sense UI on top and a 3,000 mAh battery with power saving mode which is said to offer upto 19 hours of talk time and 20 days of standby time on 3G network. The device also features a fingerprint sensor on the back.
For connectivity, the Desire 10 Pro dual SIM offers 4G, WiFi, GPS/AGPS + GLONASS, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, 3.5 mm stereo Audio Jack and micro-USB 2.0. It comes with the Ambient light sensor, Proximity sensor, Compass sensor, Sensor Hub and Motion G-sensor. The phone measures 156.5 x 76 x 7.86 mm and weighs around 165 grams.
The HTC 10 evo comes with IP57 dust and waterproofing rating and has a metal unibody design. It features a 5.5-inch QHD (1440 x 2560 pixels) Super LCD 3 display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and is powered by a 2GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, along with Adreno 430 GPU. The 10 evo comes with 3GB of RAM, and 32GB internal storage, which can be further expanded to 2TB via a microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system which is wrapped under HTC Sense UI.
The HTC 10 evo has a 3200 mAh battery with Quick Charge 2.0 feature which is said to offer upto 23 hours of talk time and 20 days of standby time on 3G/4G network. On the camera front, the smartphone offers 16-megapixel shooter with dual LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, OIS, and PDAF on its back. On its front, it has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video chats. Further, the smartphone offers 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4,1, GPS/AGPS/ GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C, USB-C audio, and BoomSound Audio. The handset measures 153.6 x 77.3 x 8.1 mm and weighs 174 grams.
