HTC has today unveiled its latest smartphone under Desire series, HTC Desire 830 in Taiwan. The device is priced in China for the equivalent of $310 (approximately Rs 20,605) and will be available in Taiwan from May 6th for purchase. However the company has not revealed anything about its global availability. The HTC Desire 830 comes in Orange and Blue colors.
HTC Desire 830 features a 5.5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) IPS display and is equipped with a 1.5 GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6753 processor, which is complemented by a Mali-T720 graphics processing unit and 3 GB of RAM. HTC Desire 830 features HTC BoomSound stereo speakers on the front, which is complemented by Dolby Audio as well.
The smartphone comes with a 13 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash and autofocus. For Selfies, it comes with a 4 mega pixel ultrapixel front camera. The HTC Desire 830 comes with 32 GB in-built storage which can be expanded through a micro SD card. This Android 5.1 Lollipop based smartphone has HTC’s Sense UI on top and a 2,800 mAh battery.
For connectivity the Desire 830 offers 4G, WiFi, GPS/AGPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, and micro-USB. The phone measures 157.5 x 78.9 x 7.79 mm and weighs around 156 grams.
