A new HTC smartphone, named as HTC Desire 728 Ultra Edition, has been listed on HTC India’s website at whooping Rs 90,000. The device is listed in Black Gold and Cappuccino Brown color options.
However, there is no product image. Also on clicking the “Buy” button, you will get a pop message, which reads: “This product will be sold soon”.
As per the listing, the HTC Desire 728 Ultra Edition features a 5.5-inch HD (720 x 1280) IPS display and is powered by 1.5 GHz octa-core processor. Along with 3GB of RAM, the smartphone comes with Android operating system (unknown version) with HTC Sense UI and a 2800 mAh battery.
The Desire 728 Ultra Edition comes with 32GB of internal storage, which is further expandable up-to 2TB via a micro SD card. The smartphone offers a 13-megapixel Autofocus rear camera with BSI sensor, LED flash and a 5-megapixel fixed-focus front camera with BSI sensor. On the connectivity front, the Desire 728 Ultra Edition offers Dual SIM,4G, Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n (2.4 GHz)), GPS with AGS/GLONASS and a Micro USB 2.0 port. The handset measures 15.79 x 7.78 x 0.78 cm and weighs 153 grams. The other feature include HTC BoomSound with Dolby Audio.
Needless to say price of HTC Desire 728 Ultra Edition sounds absurd considering that it has few upgrades than the HTC Desire 728 Dual SIM version, which was launched in India in the month of January this year for Rs 17,990. It is thus more likely to a typo and will be rectified sooner.
