A day after HTC Desire 628 was leaked on Twitter, HTC has announced the smartphone for the Vietnamese market. However, HTC has not revealed its pricing or availability details.
The Desire 628, which is the toned down variant of the Desire 830, has a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720) display. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor, which is clubbed with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, and 2TB expandable memory via a micro SD card. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with HTC Sense on top of it.
The HTC Desire 628 is backed up by a 2220 mAh battery. The smartphone boasts a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 Aperture and BSI sensor and a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies. The Desire 628 comes with a polycarbonate body with HTC BoomSound stereo speakers on the top and bottom bezel.
Besides, the smartphone has connectivity features like dual SIM support, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB 2.0 port, AGPS and GLONASS. The device dimensions are 146.9 x 70.9 x 8.19 mm and weighs 142 grams.
