HTC Desire 626G+ octa core smartphone launched in India for Rs 16,900

Apart from other decent features, it offers 13 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera.

Taiwanese smartphone maker, HTC has announced yet another mid-range smartphone in India. The new handset, called HTC Desire 626G+, has reportedly been announced for India for Rs 16,900.

The new Desire 626G+ boasts a 5 inch touchscreen with high definition (1280×720 pixels), a 1.7 GHz octa core processor, 1 RAM, 8 GB and a 32 GB expandable storage slot.

The HTC smartphone has a 13 megapixel auto focus rear camera with BSI sensor and F/2.2 aperture. There is an flash light in the rear panel as well. The smartphone also boasts a 5 megapixel front camera.

Though HTC has not revealed the exact version of operating system on which this phone runs on, it is widely expected to have the Android KitKat OS. Anyway, it has the HTC Blinkfeed and Sense UI. The dual SIM HTC Desire 626G+ offers connectivity apart from Wi-Fi, 4.0, and GPS. Available in Blue Lagoon and White Birch colours, it measures 146.9×70.9×8.1mm and weighs 138 grams. There is a 2000 Li-Po non-removable battery in the HTC Desire 626G+.
