HTC is reportedly working on a high end smartphone called HTC Bolt. As per reports, the company has filed for the trademark of “HTC Bolt” name.
If Evan Blass (@evleaks) is to believed, who is known for his quite reliable leaks, the HTC Bolt smartphone will be launched next month in the USA.
The HTC Bolt is said to be the successor of HTC Thunderbolt smartphone which was released way back in 2011.
To recall, The HTC ThunderBolt (ADR6400L code-name “Mecha”) was the first 4G LTE smartphone on the Verizon Wireless network. It was a CDMA/LTE variant of the HTC Desire HD.
As per report by Phandroid website, the name HTC Bolt could be a new charging feature or an unannounced feature for any upcoming device. Further, HTC Bolt name could also be used for an accessory that could be launched in the future.
As of now there are only speculations about the HTC Bolt name. We will keep you posted as soon as we get some concrete information on this.
