HTC and Bharti Airtel have joined hands to unveil the HTC HD7. The smartphone runs on Microsoft’s latest mobile OS — the Windows Phone 7.
Ajay Sharma, country head, HTC India, said, “Windows Phone 7 is an entirely fresh mobile experience, on which HTC is excited to be going big. We see tremendous customer opportunities with the integration of Microsoft’s most popular services”.
As reported by Telecom Yatra earlier, the HTC HD7 has a 4.3 inch capacitive touchscreen accompanied by a kickstand. The device is powered by a 1 GHz processor.
The phone also boasts of a 5.0 Megapixel camera with auto focus and dual LED flash, and supports video recording in high definition.
The two companies earlier came together for the launch of the HTC Touch, the HTC Magic and the HTC Smart.
Windows Phone 7 has been in news for sometime now and its Hub and Tile interface has been widely appreciated.
The Windows Phone 7 Hubs offer quick and easy access to a person’s latest and most valuable information and include people, pictures, games, music, video and office content. It also integrates with many popular Microsoft services such as Bing and Office.
The HTC HD7 will be available across the country at a market price of Rs 29,990.

The phone is the first one running on Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 to be launched in India.
