HTC 10 launching in India this May 26

HTC 10 was unveiled in April this year in Snapdragon 820 and Snapdragon 652 versions. But it is not clear which version coming to India.

HTC 10 will be launched in India on this May 26.The Taiwanese company is now sending out invites to various media organisations for an event on that date during which it will announce the launch of the phone.

But it is not clear which version of HTC 10 will be launched. To recall, HTC 10 was unveiled in April this year in Snapdragon 820 and Snapdragon 652 versions. Initially, HTC announced the Snapdragon 652 version (which is also called HTC 10 Lifestyle) for the Indian market but after uproars in India, the company said that it will also launch the Snapdragon 820 based model in India.

Both the versions have Marshmallow operating system with HTC Sense user interface. They also have 3 of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage, expandable storage slot as well that can hold a micro SD card of up to 2 TB capacity and a Super LCD5 display with Quad (2560X1440 pixels) and Corning Gorilla Glass.

They have a 12 megapixel rear camera that comes with Laser Auto focus, BSI sensor, Optical Image Stabilisation, f1.8 aperture, Sapphire lens, dual tone flash light, Auto HDR, and manual mode feature. This camera can capture videos. For selfies, the phones are armed with 5 megapixel front camera which too is an unit and has BSI sensor, f1.8 aperture, Auto HDR and Optical Image Stabilisation feature.

The HTC 10, which measures 145.9x 71.9 x 3.0 – 9.0 mm and weighs 161 grams, has NFC, 4.2,WiFi (a/b/g/n/ac), Miracast, DLNA, 3.5 mm jack and USB TypeC port. The Lifestyle version also has the same connectivity features but has a micro USB 2.0 port. Both the phones have 3000 battery.

Recently, LG’s flagship smartphone, the LG G5, was also made available for pre-registration.
