HP India introduces next gen Spectre and Envy laptops

The new Spectre x360 will be available by the end of October for the price starting at Rs 1,34,290.

HP has announced the launch of upgraded variants of HP Spectre and Envy laptop range in India.

The new HP Spectre x360 comes with a 13.3 inch screen and claims to have much better battery life than its predecessor – HP Spectre. To be precise, HP claims that the battery life on the new Spectre is 25 percent more than the previous version and can last for up to 15 hours. Further, HP has also provided Fast Charge technology through which one can charge this laptop to upto 50 percent in just 30 minutes and 90 percent in 90 minutes. Regarding the design, the new Spectre is about 2 mm thinner than previous variant and comes in at 13.8 mm thickness. Moreover, the bezels around the display has also been reduced to 5.45 mm which was 15.12 mm in previous variant.

Inside, the new HP Spectre x360 is powered by 7th Generation Intel Core i5 or i7 processors plus you can also stick up a 1TB SSD. In the connectivity department, it sports 2 ports both of which supports Thunderbolt charging, a faster WiFi, Bang & Olufsen audio and HP Audio boost technologies. The new Spectre x360 will be available by the end of October for the price starting at Rs 1,34,290.

On the other hand, the new Envy model sports a 13.3 inch full display which can be upgraded to edge-to-edge QHD or display. Underneath the hood, 7th Generation Inter Core Processors power the device with a support of up to 1TB SSD and up to 16GB RAM. For connectivity, there are 3 USB 3.0 ports, one of which is a dedicated sleep and charing port. There is also a USB Type-C port. The battery life as claimed by HP is about 14 hours and just like the Spectre x360, it comes with Fast Charge technology which can charge about 85% in 90 minutes. HP Envy will be available starting mid November at a price of Rs 90,000 onwards.
