Specs and images of an alleged HP smartphone, called as Elite X3, has surfaced online. As per reports, this is the same smartphone which was spotted earlier with codename HP Falcon.
If reports are true, then the Elite X3 will become the first Windows 10 powered smartphone of HP. The company is expected to unveil this Window 10 powered smartphone during Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 in Barcelona, Spain, from February 22-25.
According to the Hungarian website (Tech2), which leaked the specs and images of Elite X3, the phone will feature a 5.96-inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440p) display. It will be powered by a quad-core qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and 4GB RAM. The smartphone would run on Windows 10 operating system.
Further, the website claimed that HP Elite x3 will come with 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable by up-to 200GB via a microSD card. The smartphone will flaunt a 16-megapixel rear snapper and a 8-megapixel front facing camera. Besides, the smartphone is said to have Iris Scanner (Windows Hello), a fingerprint scanner, Continuum support, STD810 military MIL-rating (for 1-foot drop protection), Docking connector, Qi wireless charging and notably USB 3.0 Type-C (USB-C). As per the report, it is 7.8 mm thin and is IP67 water and dust resistant.
