Honor has started rolling out a new update to its View 10 and Honor 7X smartphones that bring the much-awaited GPU Turbo technology. The update is currently rolling out in India in a phased manner.
Starting with Honor View 10 first, the update comes with a version number 8.0.0.170 and it is about 478MB in size. Apart from GPU Turbo, the update also brings the latest Android security patch as well. Additionally, it also brings artificial image stabilization to the camera App and bug fix for users having Bharti Airtel connection.
Moving on to Honor 7X, the update brings version number 8.0.0.360 and it brings GPU Turbo feature to this budget-centric smartphone. With this, users will be able to play high-graphics games better. Apart from this, the update also brings a new call recording feature that basically allows users to record the phone calls.
Then there is Party Mode app, which can sync music playback across compatible smartphones for an immersive sound experience. Additionally, the update also brings a new Android security patch to the Honor 7X. In order to get the latest update, users can go to Settings > About Phone > System Updates.
To recall, Honor View 10 was launched in India in January this year at a price tag of Rs 29,999. On the other hand, Honor 7X comes with a price tag of Rs 11,999 for the 4GB RAM with 32GB storage option, while the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant is priced at Rs 14,999.
