Huawei’s Honor has launched a new tablet – Honor Tab 5 in China. The tablet is available in both WiFi and LTE versions and it will go on sale in China from March 12.
Honor Tab 5 3GB+32GB WiFi variant is priced at 1099 Yuan which is approx. Rs 11,549 while the 4GB+64GB WIFi variant is priced at 12,99 Yuan which is approx. Rs 13,651. The 3GB+32GB LTE variant costs 1399 Yuan which is approx. Rs 14,707 while the 4GB+64GB LTE variant is priced at 1499 Yuan which is approx. Rs 15,758.
The Honor Tab 5 features an 8-inch display with a Resolution of 1920×1200 pixels. It is powered by the Hisilicon Kirin 710 Chipset coupled with ARM Mali G51 MP4 GPU. In addition, the Honor Tab 5 comes with GPU Turbo 2.0 to further boost the graphics for a smoother gaming experience. The chipset, which is manufactured in 12 nm process, features four Cortex-A73 big cores operating at up to 2.2 GHz along with four Cortex-A53 little cores operating at up to 1.7 GHz.
The tablet comes in 3GB+32GB and 4GB+64GB memory configuration. It also has a Headphone jack and microSD card reader with support for up to 512GB of removable storage.
For the camera, the tablet is equipped with an 8-megapixel camera at the top left corner while the front sensor has an 8-megapixel lens for taking selfies and video calling. The tablet features a massive battery capacity of 5,100mAh and has two stereo speakers; one at the top and one at the bottom.
