Huawei’s sub-brand, Honor has launched Honor Play 7 in China for 599 Yuan (approximately Rs 6,400). The pre-orders of the Honor Play 7 have already started and it will be available for sale from 22 May. The smartphone comes in Black, Gold, and Blue colour variants.
There is no word yet of an Indian launch yet. However, the company is all set to launch the Honor 7A and 7C in India next week on May 22 and will be sold exclusively via Flipkart.
The Honor Play 7 features a 5.45-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels and comes equipped with 1.5 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6739 processor, along with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The device can also hold expandable storage of 256GB via microSD card. The smartphone runs on an older Android 8.1 Oreo operating system which is wrapped under EMUI 8.1 and is backed up by a 3020mAh battery.
On the camera front, the Honor Play 7 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash light, beauty mode, PDAF and full HD video shooting and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with soft-light LED flash and beauty mode for selfies. Besides, the smartphone offers dual sim connectivity, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi, GPS and a Micro USB port. The device measures 1436.5 x 70.9 x 8.3mm and weighs 142 grams.
