Huawei’s sub brand, Honor has today announced the launch of Honor Pad 2, along with the Honor 6X smartphone (https://www.themobileindian.com/news/20077_Honor-6X-with-Dual-rear-cameras-Kirin-655-SoC-launched) in China. The Honor Pad 2 comes in three different models- 3GB of RAM with 16GB of internal storage (WiFi model) is priced at 999 yuan, 3GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage (WiFi model) cost 1299 yuan, and for 4G LTE model with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage one has to pay 1499 yuan. The Honor Pad 2 will be made available from October 25th in Gold and White colors.
The Honor Pad 2 has an 8-inch full HD (1920×1200 pixels) IPS display and a 1.5GHz Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 (MSM8939) processor, which is paired with Adreno 405 GPU. The Pad 2 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system wrapped under Huawei’s Emotion UI 4.1. The tablet gets its strength from a 4800 mAh battery.
Honor Pad 2 comes with 3GB of RAM, and 16GB/32GB of internal memory, which is further expandable up-to 128GB via a micro SD card. The tablet also has an 8-megapixel primary camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, Besides, the tablet offers 4G LTE (model dependent), Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and a microUSB port. Further, the tablet also offers Voice calling support on 4G LTE network.
