The much speculated Honor Note 8 smartphone will be launched on August 1, Huawei announced today through a teaser which was posted on its Weibo account.
As per teaser, the launch event is scheduled to be held on 1st August, in China, at Beijing Exhibition Center. Recently, Honor had released a couple of teasers to create the hype around the smartphone and also confirmed that the upcoming smartphone will have Quad HD (2K) display of 6.6 inch size.
As per earlier reports, the Honor Note 8 is likely to have two variants- a 3GB RAM variant with 32GB internal storage variant and another with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The 3GB variant is expected to cost 1999 Yuan (Rs 20,112 approximately) while 4GB variant will be priced at 2299 Yuan (Rs 23,130 approximately). Both the models will also have option to expand the storage by up-to 128GB via a micro SD card and also said to feature USB Type-C port.
As per earlier TENAA listing, the device is said to be coming with 2.3 GHz Kirin 950 octa-core processor, 3GB/4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB of internal storage, 128GB expandable storage slot, a 13 Megapixel rear camera, an 8 megapixel front camera, a huge 4400 mAh battery and a fingerprint sensor on the rear. It is also said to have a metal unibody.
Besides, Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with EMIU 4.1 UI, dual SIM, 4G-LTE with VoLTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, and GPS/A-GPS are expected in Honor Note 8. The alleged Huawei Honor Note 8, as per TENAA listing, is 178.8 mm tall, 90.9 mm wide and 7.2 mm thin and it weighs 219 grams. It is reported to come in Gold and Silver colours.
