The Honor 8X and Honor 8X Max have now been confirmed to be launched on September 5 by the company itself. Honor 8X is said to be the successor ofHonor 7X which was launched last year for Rs 12,999. The Honor 8X Max is said to be a bigger variant of Honor 8X with a large 7.12-inch LCD screen with a notch.
The Chinese company has taken to the Chinese microblogging site Weibo to announce the launch date for its next smartphones in China. Honor has posted a teaser on Weibo confirming the existence of two phones. However, the teaser does not reveal any specifications details of the Honor 8X and Honor 8X Max. It just says that the smartphones will ‘surpass limits’, and will be ‘beyond imagination’.
As per earlier reports, the Honor 8X and the 8X Max are expected to come with a waterdrop display notch, dual rear camera setup and a massive battery. As per GSMArena report, the Honor 8X Max will have Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 on board.
Recently some leaked images of Honor 8X surfaced online on Weibo a per which Honor 8X sports a waterdrop-shaped notch for the front camera. The images showed Honor branding at the bottom of the device.
As per the earlier TENAA listing, the Honor 8X will sport a 7.12-inch full-HD+ TFT display with an 18.7:9 aspect ratio. It is expected to run on the latest Kirin 710 Chipset or the Snapdragon 636/660 SoC. It will have a 4GB of RAM, 64GB of inbuilt storage and expandable up to 256GB.

The Honor 8X will have a 16MP+2MP dual rear camera setup and an 8MP front camera. It will run on Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box and will be fueled by a 4,900mAh battery. Connectivity options will include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and a 3.5mm Headphone jack. For dimension, it will measure 177.57 x 86.24 x 8.13mm and weigh 210 grams.
