Honor 8C launched with 6.26-inch 19:9 display, dual rear cameras

Honor 8C comes in two variants - 4GB RAM with 32GB storage priced at 1099 Yuan which is approx. Rs 11,790 and the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage will cost you 1399 Yuan which is Rs 15,000 approx.

Huawei’s Honor brand has announced the launch of Honor 8C in China. The Honor 8C smartphone is the successor the Honor 7C which was launched earlier this year. Honor 8C is the first smartphone running Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 632 SoC. It comes in Aurora Blue, Platinum Gold, Nebula Purple and Midnight Black colour options.

Honor 8C comes in two variants – 4GB with 32GB storage priced at 1099 Yuan which is approx. Rs 11,790 and the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage will cost you 1399 Yuan which is Rs 15,000 approx. It will be available for order today in China and will be available for sale from October 16th.

Honor 8C features a 6.26-inch notched display with a 1520 x 720 resolution. It offers a screen-to-body ratio of 80.4 percent and an aspect ratio of 19:9. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 SoC which will be coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage.

There is a dual rear camera setup of a 13-megapixel sensor along with an f/1.8 aperture, LED flash and a 2-megapixel sensor along with an f/2.4 aperture. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel sensor along with an f/2.0 and LED flash. The front-facing camera will carry support for face unlock.

Honor 8C runs 8.1 Oreo OS with EMUI 8.2 on top. It is fueled by 4,000mAh battery with support for 5V/2A charger. The phone also features a fingerprint scanner on the backside

The phone includes connectivity features like VoLTE, dual-SIM support, 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, +GLONASS. The phone measures 158.72 x 75.94 x 7.98mm and weighs 167.2 grams.
