As reported earlier, Huawei’s sub-brand, Honor will unveil the Honor 8 smartphone soon, which will succeed last year’s Honor 7. As per earlier reports, the Honor 8 smartphone will be unveiled on July 5 and will be made available for purchase from July 12.
Couple of days back, Honor confirmed the existence of Honor 8 smartphone by releasing the official teaser with tag line “Beauty out of the ordinary”.
Now the Honor 8 smartphone has been spotted on the Chinese certification agency TENAA, by Gizmochina. The listing on TENAA not only has an image of the phone, but it has also revealed key features of the phone.
As per TENAA listing, Honor 8 features a 5.2-inch full HD (1080p) display and is armed with 2.3GHz Kirin 950 octa-core processor. There will be four different variants of the smartphone- 3GB RAM with 32GB of internal storage, 4GB with 32GB of internal storage, 4GB with 64GB internal of storage and the top model with 2K display, 4GB RAM with 128GB storage. The smartphone also has the option to expand the storage up-to 128GB via microSD card. The honor 8 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow wrapped under EMUI 4.1. It houses a fingerprint scanner and an Infrared port as well.
On the camera front, it has dual 12-megapixel camera module at the back and a 8-megapixel selfie snapper on the front. The handset measures 145.5 × 71.0 × 7.45 mm and weighs around 153 grams.
