As expected, Huawei’s sub brand Honor has launched the Honor 6X smartphone in China today. The smartphone comes in three variants- one with 3GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage at 999 Yuan, another with 4GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage at 1299 Yuan, while the third one has 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage and it costs 1599 Yuan. The smartphone will be made available from October 25 and comes in gold, silver, and grey colours.
Honor 6X boasts a metal unibody and a 5.5-inch full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display. It is powered by a Huawei’s HiSilicon Kirin 655 (4 x 2.1GHz + 4 x 1.7GHz) processor, along with Mali T830-MP2 and can hold up-to a 128 GB micro SD card in its expandable storage slot. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and has the Huawei Emotion UI 4.1 (EMUI) user interface. A 3340 mAh battery is inside the phone.
Notably, the Honor 6X has a dual rear camera setup which include a 12-megapixel primary sensor with LED Flash, PDAF and a secondary 2-megapixel sensor. In its front lies an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video chat. Besides, an LED flash and a fingerprint scanner are also on its back panel just below the camera setup. Besides, the smartphone offers Hybrid Dual SIM, 4G with VoLTE, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. The handset measures 150.9 x 72.6 x 8.2 mm and weighs around 162 grams.
