Huawei’s sub-brand, Honor has launched a new smartphone in China, dubbed as Honor 6 Play along with the V9 Play. The smartphone is priced at 599 Yuan (approximately Rs 5,880) and will be made available from today onwards in White and gold colour options.
The Honor 6 Play features a 5-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and comes equipped with 1.4 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737T processor, along with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The device can also hold expandable storage via microSD card. The smartphone runs on an older Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system which is wrapped under EMUI 4.1 and is backed up by a 3020mAh battery.

On the camera front, the Honor 6 Play sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, dual LED flash light, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash. f/2.0 aperture, 84° wide-angle lens for selfies. Besides, the smartphone offers dual sim connectivity, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, GPS and a microUSB port. The device measures 143.8 x 72 x 8.85mm and weighs 150 grams.
