Huawei’s sub-brand Honor is reportedly working on a new smartphone in the Honor 20 series. The company is said to be working on Honor 20S as the smartphone has been found listed on Google Play Console listing.
Some netizens have spotted the listing on the Play Console listing. The listing reveals that the smartphone will ditch the punch-hole design, which is there in the Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro. The phone will feature a waterdrop notch design. Furthermore, it reveals that the phone will feature volume controls and power on/off button.
The listing further reveals that the phone will be backed by a 6-inch display, which might bear Full HD+ resolution. Furthermore, it says that the phone will feature an 8GB of RAM and it will be available in two storage variants including 128GB and 256GB. The listing also reveals that the Honor 20S will run on Android 10, meaning that it will be unveiled once Google officially releases the Android 10.
Meanwhile, some key specifications of the upcoming smartphone have been leaked on Weibo. As per the leaks, the Honor 20S will be powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 810 Processor along with Mali-G52 GPU. The phone will be also equipped with the company’s self-developed DaVinci AI NPU. The leaks suggest that the performance will be comparable to the Honor 9X series.
On the battery front, the phone is reported to feature a 4000mAh battery and it will be equipped with a 20W Fast charging support. The phone is said to get some features of the Honor 20 series in the camera department. This means Honor 20S is likely to feature a 32-megapixel selfie shooter and a 48-megapixel AI rear camera as the primary sensor.
