Samsung has started rolling out the Android 3.2 Honeycomb update over the air for the Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet users. Last week, Samsung had released the update but later rolled it back as it caused issues with number of Galaxy tab 10.1 users. This new Android 3.2 Honeycomb update is meant for WiFi only models of Galaxy tab 10.1.
Samsung Galaxy tab 10.1 tablet users had received a 63.12 MB update over the air for their tablets last week. Unfortunately, that update ended up crippling the wireless connectivity, Bluetooth and even automatic screen rotation for many users. Now Samsung has released yet another update for all those affected users and also for those who wish to get the Android 3.2 Honeycomb richness on their Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet.
Google has released the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update so now the ball is in Samsung’s court. So Samsung may roll out a proper working Android 4.0 ICS update for the Galaxy tab 10.1 but its long way to go. Considering the manner updates have been rolled out for Samsung devices in past, we don’t expect to see the Android 4.0 ICS update for Galaxy tab and other Galaxy devices before mid of next year.
