Google has released a Honeycomb-ready version of Google Voice app.
With this, Android tablet users can make voice calls and send text messages through their tablet using Google Voice. The new version, Google Voice 4.2.34 includes some bug fixes as well.
There was some confusion when the update arrived, as users thought it was about bug fixes alone. But some users reported that the update brought the settings menu on the top right corner of Google Voice app, which is how Honeycomb-optimised apps work. The user interface still looks like an Android smartphone but the shift towards the tablet is already visible.
