After the Nexus One and Nexus S smartphones, Google is reportedly looking to create an Android Nexus tablet.
According to information picked up by Russian blog site Mobile-Review, Google is looking to create an Android Nexus tablet and LG is said to be handling the actual manufacturing (Google English Translation).
Google’s Nexus One and Nexus S smartphones have native Android operating systems without any modifications or adition, which usually third part manufacturers do.
And, it seems that Google is trying the same model with Tablet, whereas it will manufacture a tablet device with native Android 3.0 Honeycomb in place.
The new tablet would most likely run a clean version of Android 3.0 Honeycomb and could hit the market by mid-summer or early fall, said Mobile-Review.
However, there are certain people who think that this device could not be meant for end consumers and Google is manufacturing it to test the Android platform developments.
However going by the history, Goggle first got Nexus one manufactured by HTCand then recently introduced Nexus S manufactured by Samsung. This could very well be the next big device from Google.
